MIDDBIKEPED ADVOCACY LISTSERVE

The advocacy listserve is administered by Midd Bike-Ped Coalition, a loosely-organized forum where people interested in improving alternative transportation options in Middlebury, Vermont can share ideas and information, connect with others, and organize projects. Topics include bicycle commuting, bike lanes, safe walking routes to schools, public transportation, and more.

 

VERMONT PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION ASSOCIATION

Vermont Public Transportation Association (VPTA) offers information about public transportation to the public and to policy makers; helps coordinate resource and information sharing for its members; and  contracts with government agencies to administer and develop transportation services throughout the state.

 

SMALL TOWN AND RURAL DESIGN GUIDE 

Visit the Small Town and Rural Design Guide to enjoy a wonderful resource for those in need of guidelines and ideas for walking and cycling facilities for rural areas and small towns.  Highly recommended!

ACTR provides public transit routes in and out of county.  All buses are equipped with bike racks and child safety seats.

MALT conserves the working landscape and provides public access to community trails in Middlebury for recreation.
